Welcome to KinderCare in Clayton on Main Street. We look forward to
meeting with you and your child. We believe it is all designed for
learning. All aspects of the classroom are there to assist in your
child’s growth and development. We will ensure a happy and safe
environment for child. Our staff is very excited about what they do
and are excellent child care providers and teachers. Stop by our

Health and Safety is very important to us. We always put children
first. Ms. Shaunna, our Prekindergarten teacher and Health & Safety
Coordinator. Everyday, she is given tasks from checking cleaning
solutions to updating allergy lists and forms throughout the
center. She also conducts monthly drills, which she and someone
from Center Management log and initial. Ms. Shaunna also
participates in Health and Safety Conference calls with other
Health and Safety Coordinators in the district and our District
Manager. She provides ongoing training to other staff members on
best practices and does frequent inspections inside and out of the
facility. Once a month, we have staff meetings. During our staff
meetings we discuss any new Health and Safety topics. We also
update our Allergy and Food Restriction List once a month. We ask
parents to update us of any new food allergies so that we can
ensure our food allergy lists are correct at all times. Our center
requires a code in order to enter. We change our door code twice a
year and we ask that parents keep the door code to themselves and
to other authorized pick up and drop off persons.
