Lake Tahoe Preparatory School

255 Olympic Valley Road
Olympic Valley, CA 96146
Lake Tahoe Prep is a co-ed boarding school for grades 9 through 12 where students choose to join a school built on individualized learning, meaningful relationships, and personal growth.
Surrounded by the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Lake Tahoe, our college preparatory program is supported by a low student-to-faculty ratio that allows each learner to be known, challenged, and encouraged.
We offer three tiers of support so students can engage at the level that best meets their needs, whether they are seeking a traditional boarding experience, specialized learning support, or would benefit from additional therapeutic guidance.
Students participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities, including athletics, fine arts, outdoor adventure programs, clubs, and leadership opportunities.
Community involvement is an integral part of life at Lake Tahoe Prep.
Our location offers year-round recreation, from big mountain skiing and snowboarding in the winter to paddleboarding, swimming, hiking, and other lake-based activities in the summer.
We also provide summer school options that allow students to strengthen skills, advance academically, or explore new interests.
At Lake Tahoe Prep, students build confidence, competence, and independence in a setting designed to help them thrive.
