St. Mary's School is the oldest continually in operation Catholic Elementary School on Staten Island.
St. Mary's School endeavors to develop the spiritual, academic and social skills of all its students.
The whole St. Mary's School community is dedicated to developing a strong sense of a value-oriented life in its students.
A conscious effort is made to correlate various curriculum subject areas to the practice and beliefs of the word of God.
Students are to be made knowledgeable in the value of mathematics, social human behavior through social studies, the recognition of the true and beautiful in art and music, the development of written composition skills and fine and gross motor skill, and scientific knowledge through inquiry and the use of technology for the betterment of mankind.
