The Marlowe School is a Montessori preschool in Atlanta serving children ages 2 through 6.
Our classrooms are intentionally designed to build independence, strong work habits, and a deep academic foundation through individualized instruction.Children progress at their own pace using hands-on materials in language, math, and cultural studies, developing both confidence and genuine understanding.
Many of our students begin reading fluently before kindergarten and transition successfully into top Atlanta public and private schools.With a low student-to-teacher ratio and a calm, purposeful classroom environment, The Marlowe School provides the structure and support young children need to become capable, curious, and self-directed learners.
We first learned about The Marlowe School through a personal recommendation, and three years and two children later, it is the preschool we recommend to others. Ms. Kristin and her exceptional team of teachers recognize the unique potential in each child. They meet students at their individual levels and help them grow academically and personally.Both of our children learned to read within months of enrollment and began working on math concepts well above their age level. They were introduced to elementary-level science topics, exposed to influential artists such as Rothko and Warhol, and participated in engaging activities like Bubble Day and Petting Zoo Day. Most importantly, The Marlowe School instilled in them a genuine love of learning.Ms. Kristin is deeply committed to the success of every student. She communicates openly and responds thoughtfully to parental concerns. Beyond academics, she has cultivated a warm, supportive school community, complete with monthly playdates and Marlowe Moms/Dads Dinners. We have made friendships that have lasted even after we moved out of the area.We are especially grateful for Ms. Kristin's support in navigating the school admissions process-both locally in Atlanta and out of state-even years after our older child had graduated. Today, both of our children are thriving in top private schools, and we credit The Marlowe School as the foundation of their success.
