The Susan And Rabbi Harold Loss Ecc

5725 Walnut Lake Rd
West Bloomfield, MI 48323
Temple Israel is a Reform Jewish Congregation which seeks to fulfill its religious and ethical goals by being a center for spiritual fulfillment, life-long learning, cultural enrichment, community leadership, social responsibility, and by lovingly entrusting our Reform Jewish tradition from generation to generation.
We are committed in our support of the State of Israel and of the Jewish people throughout the world.
The Early Childhood Center at Temple Israel provides the foundation for all early childhood programming.
We have created a play-oriented "home away from home" environment where young children learn best when activities are concrete, hands-on, multi-sensory, open-ended, meaningful and relevant.
Our curriculum blends the Jewish and secular worlds by weaving a beautiful tapestry of experiences for our children and their families.
Because our goal is "to see the world through Jewish eyes," we have a strong commitment to making Judaism an important part of our everyday living and learning.
We must, however, also prepare our children to go forth into the secular world filled with confidence and skills.
Thus within a rich Jewish environment, we offer Hebrew, math, science, language art, computers, social studies, music, and art, interwoven into our pre-school and kindergarten fabric.
